About Program
The Western Digital Scholarship Program 2024-25, launched by Western Digital, aims to financially empower students from marginalized communities. This initiative offers a one-time scholarship of up to ₹75,000 to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and transgender students pursuing graduation, postgraduation and PhD degrees in STEM-related fields. The comprehensive scholarship covers academic and living expenses, fostering a diverse STEM landscape and cultivating the next generation of leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and transgender students pursuing graduation, postgraduation, and PhD programs in STEM-related fields.
Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th or their previous semester or preceding class.
Open to students across India.
Children of employees of Western Digital, Zameen Foundation and Buddy4Study are ineligible.

Note: The scholarship covers 100% of educational expenses, including:
Academic expenses (Tuition Fee, Admission Fee, Exam Fee, Books, etc.)
Living expenses (Hostel Fee, Mess Fee, Uniform, etc.)
Devices (Laptop, Mobile, Equipment, etc.)
Monthly allowance
Documents Required
Recent passport-sized photograph
Institution current admission proof (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card)
Previous class/semester’s mark sheet
Payment receipts for educational expenses (tuition fees, hostel fees, books, etc.) along with the fee structure for the academic year
Bonafide letter from the college stating the total fees/expenses incurred by the applicant in an academic year/annual cycle
Class 12 mark sheet
Proof of identity (PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.)
Bank passbook
Document proof for transgender and physical disability
