About Program

The Shri Tulsi Tanti Scholarship Program is an initiative by Suzlon Group in memory of Shri Tulsi Tanti, the late founder of Suzlon Group. His life was a testament to his commitment to innovation and progress. He envisioned a future where bright young minds could pursue their aspirations and contribute meaningfully to society. This scholarship program is a tribute to that vision, offering financial support and fostering an inclusive talent pipeline. The scholarship is open to girl students in Class 9, as well as all students currently enrolled in the first year of a B.E./B.Tech. degree or a diploma in engineering. Selected students will receive up to INR 1,20,000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria

For Class 9 Girl Students 2024-25

• Girls currently studying in Class 9 can apply for this scholarship. 

• The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 5 lakh from all sources. 

• Open to Indian national girls enrolled in recognized schools located in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Daman, and Puducherry.

For Graduate Students 2024-25

• Students currently enrolled in the first year of a B.E./B.Tech. degree are eligible to apply. 

• Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.

• Their annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 6 lakh. 

• The scholarship is open to Indian nationals enrolled in recognized institutions located in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Daman, and Puducherry.

For Diploma Students 2024-25

• Students currently enrolled in the first year of a diploma in engineering are eligible to apply. 

• Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.

• Their annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 6 lakh. 

• The scholarship is open to Indian nationals enrolled in recognized institutions located in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Daman, and Puducherry.

Benefits

For Class 9 Girl Students 2024-25

• INR 6,000 per year (Note: Scholarships will be provided for both Class 9 and Class 10)

For Graduate Students 2024-25

• INR 1,20,000 per year

Note: The scholarship fund can only be used for academic expenses, including tuition fees, books, stationery, travel, laptops, etc.

For Diploma Students 2024-25

• INR 60,000 per year

Note: The scholarship fund can only be used for academic expenses, including tuition fees, books, stationery, travel, laptops, etc.

Documents Required

For Class 9 Girl Students 2024-25

• Proof of identity and address (Aadhaar card)

• Current year admission proof (fee receipt, admission letter, institution identity card, or bonafide certificate)

• Marksheet of the previous year

• Family income proof (any one of the following):

• Income proof issued by Gram Panchayat (signed and stamped)

• Income proof issued by Tehsildar/BDP (for rural areas)

• Certificate from concerned authorities for income from agriculture, horticulture, or veterinary sources

• Affidavit for orphans/single-parent child (in cases where the family has lost the earning member)

• Last three months’ salary slips/ITR/Form 16

• BPL/Ration card

• Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)

• Passport-sized photograph

For Graduate Students 2024-25
