About Program
The Amba Dalmia scholarship offers financial support to talented young women who wish to pursue higher studies in France in various fields such as Music, Theatre, Sports, Arts, Sculpture, Cinema, Ballet, Opera, Painting, Photography, Oenology, and Culinary studies etc.
The Amba Dalmia scholarship program established in 2018 by Dr. Gun Nidhi Dalmia in memory of daughter Amba Dalmia, with an endowment of INR 25 lakhs. Since its inception, it has assisted over 16 students in achieving their academic aspirations.

Bachelor’s, Master’s and Short-term programmes for students or young professionals.
Benefits
Scholarship recipients receive a monthly stipend to support their living expenses in France.
They also benefit from additional assistance provided by the Embassy of France in India, including help in finding affordable student accommodation, access to social security benefits, waiver of Campus France and visa fees, among other services.
The scholarship is awarded for a maximum duration of one year or for the duration of the project in France, and is not renewable.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must
be an Indian citizen.
be at least 18 years of age or above at the time of application.
be a female student or professional who has completed her high school/graduation from an Indian institution & has demonstrated consistently remarkable academic record.
have applied for/secured admission in a French higher education institution.
Applicants who have obtained French Government or Erasmus Mundus scholarship are not eligible to apply.
Knowledge of French is an asset but not mandatory.
Selection Process

How to Apply
Applications should be submitted HERE along with the following documents:
Curriculum vitae
Motivation letter
Copy of passport
Passport photograph
Proof of educational qualifications – High school and university marksheets and passing certificate/degree (of all semesters - completed or ongoing)
Evidence that you have been accepted unconditionally for the course, project or that progress towards acceptance has been made
No Objection Certificate from the Indian institution (if you are a student)
Internship documents or Portfolio submission where appropriate
Applicants are required to submit all documents in a single PDF file in the specified order. The documents must be legible, oriented in portrait format, and not inverted.
Incomplete submissions or failure to adhere to these instructions will result in rejection.
